Q. What is the minimum requirement
for running Leo Gold?
Ans. The Software is developed to run on an IBM compatible Pentium Class
300 Mhz Celeron PC with 32 MB RAM running Windows-95/98, NT, Windows 2000 Operating
System. The Software requires around 200-300 MB harddisk space for 2 languages with
predictions (Including Leo-1, the dos based astrological Software). The harddisk
space increases almost by 25-35 MB Per Language for Calculation with Predictions
Software with increase in no. of languages. 'Calculations Only' software requires
around 100 MB of harddisk space (including Leo-1).
Q. Where can we attach this Leo Key
(or can we attach the Leo Key on any port)?
Ans. There are two types of Leo Key, First one is USB Key and another
one is Parallel Key, We have to attach USB Key in to USB port, And Parallel
Key in to the parallel port (to which majority of printers are attached).
Q. How we can install the software on
our computer?
Ans.First attach the Leo Key on parallel port, now insert the Leo Gold
CD in CD-ROM. As CD is autorun so after some 7 to 8 second it starts automatically.
After 100%, a green screen will appear. It will show you two buttons Next
and Cancel.
So Click on the Next button or press
Enter. Next screen will appear it will give
you three buttons Back,
Yes and No. So, click on the Yes
button or press Enter.
On the next screen it will ask for password, now type your password and press Enter.
## So the core result is that you have to press enter if you get some message box
on the screen. At the end Finish button will appear so press the Finish button and
Restart the computer. Now on the desktop it will create 3 icons.
1) LeoGold
2) Leo1
3) Horo
Now double click on Leo Gold to view the software
Q. Can we take the printout on Dot matrix
printer?
Ans. You can easily take the printout on any printer like Dot matrix, Desk
jet, Inkjet or Laser printers. For taking the printout on any printer go to print
option button in the software. Press the combo of Printer type, now select your
desired printer (e.g. if you are using the Dot Matrix Printer and stationary is
11 inch then select the DotMatrix-11 and if you are using 12 inch then select the
Dotmatrix-12 from printer type) and make it default. Restart the computer. Now take
the printout. It should come fine. Q. Can I load the software on network computers?
Ans. You can load the software on any numbers of computers but the software will
only work where Leo Key will be attached on the parralel port. So you can view the
software at a time on one computer.
Q. Can I load the software on any operating
system other then Microsoft series?
Ans.You can not load the software on any series other than Microsoft.
This software is compatible only with Microsoft operating systems series like Microsoft
windows 95, 98 NT, 2000. So if you have operating system like MC & Tos etc.
you will not be able to load the software. So change your operating system and now
install the software.
Q. How much Hard Disk space is required
for Leo Gold software ?
Ans. This software requires 200 to 300 MB space of your hard disk. So if
you have less space remove some unwanted folders and files so that you can get minimum
above mentioned space.
Q. I have 486 computer with me so can
I load Leo Gold on this computer?
Ans. No, you can not load Leo Gold on 486, because LeoGold is compatible
only with pentium series. But you can load the Leo1 software (Which is a dos based
program) on 486.
Q. After inserting the Leo Gold CD in
CD-ROM. It is not functioning automatically?
Ans. If your CD is not functioning automatically it means your CD-ROM does
not support the autorun feature. So open the window explorer and click on the CD-ROM’s
drive, it will show you some files, Now double click on setup.exe file. This will
start installation process.
Q. Is the software Y2K compliant?
Ans. All Y2K problems are considered in accounting, calculations, etc.
in Leo Gold. Therefore Leo Gold is a Y2K compliant software.
Q. How Leo Gold is different from Leo-1.
Ans.Leo-1 is a DOS based program and Leo Gold is Windows based Program.
Leo Gold provides more features and gives very user friendly environment. Leo Gold
has enhancements in Calculations and Prediction and has more features then its DOS
based Leo-1 Software. The user can print horoscopes in his own defined paper size
as compared to old A4 size printing of Leo-1, He can use different fonts and colour
schemes to print the horoscope etc. Please note that Leo Gold is much enhanced and
more accurate and does better calculation as compared Leo-1. Therefore, calculations
in Leo Gold may be different from Calculations of Leo-1.
Q. Can I purchase Leo Gold in one language
or it parts?
Ans.Yes. There is a facility of Leo99 that either you can purchase Leo99
in one or in multi language or you can take this in parts i.e. calculations with/without
predictions.
Q. Does Leo Gold contains Latitude and
Longitude of Places?
Ans. Leo Gold has a very large database of almost all the places of the
world and their latitudes and longitudes.
Q. Whether Leo Gold can support different
Ayanamsa?
Ans. Yes. Leo Gold gives the facility to its user to use different Ayanamsa
and also allows to define their own Ayanamsas from the Ayanamsa of Masters Menu.
Q. Can we define Our Customised Models?
Ans. Yes. In Leo Gold the user can Defiine and use customized models.
Q. Can I have my Centre's Name, Address,
Phone No and Other Details at the bottom of every page I print ?
Ans. The user can create end page in Leo Gold and use it for printing in
the horoscope from Astrologers Master.
Q. Can I Print different Chart Styles
in a horoscope?
Ans. In Leo Gold by Selecting Chart Style from Chart Style List Box of
Main Input Screen, user can print horoscopes in different chart styles such as North
Indian, South Indian, Oriya, Bengali and also in Old Indian Tradition Circular Charts.
Q. Can we prepare a horoscope as a File,
so that we may send it through e-mail?
Ans. You can make complete horoscope file of a particular model and can
send it through e-mail. You can also prepare files of selective pages of the model.

Q. Can I use Continuous Stationary and
use DOT MATRIX printer to print horoscopes from Leo Gold?
Ans. Yes, you can select any one from 'DOT MATRIX-11' and 'DOT MATRIX-12'
and other specified paper sizes according to stationary from print options and print
horoscopes on a DOT MATRIX printer from Leo Gold.
Q. I'm Unable to Print From HP Laserjet
6L PRO Printer.
Ans.It has been seen that on some computers, users are unable to take
printouts from their 'HP Laserjet 6L Pro' printers. It is due to the printer driver
which is not correctly installed in Windows. Please Indtall the printer driver correcly
provided with the CD so that all the drivers of the printer become enable during
printing.
