On pressing ‘Panchang’ button a screen as shown below appears. This screen displays
Planet Degrees of all 12 planets along with Aynamsa, SidTime, Ten House, Ascendant
Degree, SunRise, Sun Set etc. based on the Date, Time, Latitude, Longitude and Time
Zone provided in the basic data box.
Panchang Screen
By default Basic data comes from the main input screen and accordingly the degrees
are calculated. The user, however, can change this basic data by typing in the date
in Date of Birth and Time in Time of Birth Fields and can calculate Planet Degrees
on that basis. The user can calculate any number of
records for Panchang and Ephemeris. On pressing ‘Start’ button of ‘Panchang’ or
‘Ephemeris’ the program starts calculating degrees and a record counter starts incrementing.
Side by side the date upto the data is calculated keeps on changing on the screen.
This way the user can generate 'Panchang' or 'Ephemeris' for a particular period
and then he/she can press the same toggle button to stop the calculation.
Ephemeris Report
This utility also allows the user to print various ‘Ephemeris’ and ‘Panchang’ reports
by selecting appropriate report from the reports List Box and pressing ‘Print Ephemeris’
or ‘Print Panchang’ buttons. When you press 'Print Ephemeris' button, a window as
shown in figure Ephemeris Report appears.
Panchang Report
As shown in fig Panchang Report, panchang shows Sun Rise time, Sun Set Time, Paksha,
Tithi, Tithi Nakshatra, Yoga, Karan, Rashi and their endings.
